Aline was my younger sister and has always been part of my life.  I cannot imagine my world without her and will really miss her.
My childhood memories of Al are of a clever, happy, giggly Card sharp girl.  See if you can spot her smiling face in the photo of us at a garden party.
Aline enjoyed school and a real tribute to her are the many school friendships she has maintained.  Later in the year her school friends will have a ‘wake’ for her in Sydney.
Although Aline and I never lived in the same part of the world at the same time we always maintained contact and in later years weekly ‘chats’ on WhatsApp exchanging news about family, friends and books.
Life was not always easy for Al but she never complained.  She and Ivan were so proud of their  ‘boys’ and of their adored grandchildren and their achievements.
