Hi, I’m Adam, Susan Freeman’s husband, and I’m very happy to have known Aline, and sad that she’s no longer around. She & I had many a good natter, often about books. Aline was so well read and widely read - not at all snobbish about whether she enjoyed a “bodice ripper” or a Booker Prize winner. A lovely, gentle soul. My condolences to Ivan, Martin, Lewis and the family. With lots of love and fond memories.
